NPG 671D - 1966 Series IIA - 88" Soft Top - Very Original !
2 Owners From New 68,000 Miles Very original condition Classic Car Insurance The restoration of older Land Rovers became popular, as original examples became more and more difficult to find. Today, 40 years after the Series IIA production ceased, it is almost impossible to find them in unspoilt original condition. Luckily here at Land Rover Centre, we seem to have a knack of tracking them down. This particular Land Rover has had only 2 owners from new, and covered a measly 68,000 miles. The chassis and bulkhead are in amazing original condition, and has been well maintained through its life. Lots of original features including:
The Land Rover has been improved with the addition of:

LPD 606K - 1972 Series III - 109 " Searle 4 Berth Carawagon.
2 Owners From New 160,000 Miles Very original condition Classic Car Insurance One of the Rarer Land Rover Conversions - This is a genuine "Civilian" 4 berth Carawagon (Manufactured by Searle / Carawagon International Ltd). As well as being in stunning unspoilt condition, this Land Rover is backed up by the largest history file I have ever seen. When I say "Too much to describe" - I really mean it. There are log books by the original owner (1972 to 2009 / 1000 to 156,00 miles) stating in detail every bit of maintenance carried out - there is a fuel log for the same period, noting every drop of fuel, and calculations for the fuel economy calculated tank by tank, and also year by year (average 18.71mpg over the period). Also included with the Land Rover are: The original build cards from land Rover - rare to find in their own right. Original letters (5) from "Carawagon" during the period of the order for the Land Rover. The original (Itemised) conformation of the order and of course the original Invoice from Carawagon - again itemised, showing all the additional items ordered at the time. An invoice from Turner Engineering for the supply of a "High performance" lead free head, supplied in 1992. There are brochures and catalogues for seals and fittings for the roof. Copies of original Carawagon Brochures Articles on the Carawagon - Including a copy of Land Rover Monthly September 2009 - which featured this particular vehicle Articles from magazines which cover most aspects of maintenance and repair of Land Rovers Rare original Land Rover booklets; "Proprietary Equipment & Special Conversions", "Land Rover Driving Techniques", and "A guide to Land Rover Expeditions". Original Owners manual plus the repair operation manual. It would literally take hours to read and digest the information that will come with this Land Rover. I would strongly suggest any interested parties spend a day to come and inspect the Land Rover and look through the paperwork. I would say many items have historic interest.
The Land Rover itself, is (as you would expect) in lovely condition, and fit to set off anywhere. The engine runs like a dream, and the gearbox and overdrive work exactly as you would expect. All the original "Carawagon" features supplied new with the Land Rover are included in the sale:
The Carawagon is well know for it's simple design and the use of good quality materials - this is reflected in the current condition of the vehicle nearly 40 years on. This Land Rover is appealing for so many reasons, and is looking for a new owner who will care for it in the same way as the 2 previous owners. If you think you may be that person - why not call for a chat. To be sold fully serviced with 12 months MOT |

193 ELM - 1963 Series IIA - 109 " 5 door station wagon
Classic Car Insurance 2 Owners from new 39,500 Genuine Miles Another rare find ! - This Land Rover was originally supplied new to the Home Office. It would have been a "reserve" vehicle - hence the low mileage now. In 1996 it was passed to the "Department for International Development" (lots of history and supporting paperwork) In 2006 it passed to its one and only "private" owner. This Land Rover has been extremely well maintained and preserved and is presented now in a condition that is almost impossible to find - especially the rare 5 door station wagon - which to be fair is more prone to corrosion (on the side frames and body) than most other models. This Land Rover has no such problems. Original rust free chassis and bulkhead, original interior (Rare "Elephant hide"), and original bodywork. The Land Rover was repainted (original Deep Bronze Green) - back (we think) in 1996. So if you are looking for something to show, or just need to carry the family - this Land Rover would be one to consider. Original features include

PNW 242C - 1965 Series IIA - 109 " 5 door station wagon - LEFT HAND DRIVE
Left Hand Drive ! 12 Seater Safari Station Wagon Classic Car Insurance 43,000 Genuine Miles "PNW" was rebuilt by Land Rover Centre Huddersfield in 2001, for a client in Baltimore USA. It began life as a very low mileage (Original Left Hand Drive) X MOD Land Rover, with perfect chassis and bulkhead. It was stripped to the chassis and rebuilt using a Station Wagon Body, including new doors and interior. Since 2001, it has resided in Baltimore, with Peter, and has been very well cared for and pampered alongside his other Land Rovers and range Rover. The time came for Peter to reduce his collection, and Land Rover Centre Huddersfield was happy to assist, which resulted in "PNW" and "Heartbeat" being brought "Back Home". We are currently going through the paperwork process of Re-Registering "PNW" ontothe UK DVLA system. Once this is completed, PNW can then be sold to a new owner, who will hopefully cherish her as much as Peter has done during the last 10 years. Finished in Limestone, with full "Elephant Hide" seats and trim it also benefits from a number of original features and upgrades, including;
All in all, "PNW" is a very well sorted Land Rover, that benefits from very low mileage mechanics, coupled to an excellent chassis and bulkhead - that is built to last for many more year. Being Left Hand Drive, it would be ideal for export to Europe or the USA. Worldwide shipping, and nationwide delivery available - please ask. To be sold fully serviced with 12 months MOT and 3 months mechanical warranty. |

PGB 377P - 1976 Series III Soft Top - "As New" - Ground up restoration !

Finished in Deep Bronze Green, with Sand Soft top, and Green Vinyl seats. Obviously it is impossible to give an exhaustive list, but below is a summary of the main work that has been carried out:

WWT 59J - 1971 Range Rover 2 Door Classic - Diesel Ground up restoration - Including Galvanised and powder coated chassis
Nut & Bolt Rebuild Galvanised & Powder Coated Chassis
Unfortunately, the classic 2 door Range Rover was never factory built with a Diesel engine. What we have here, is perhaps what SHOULD have been built, but never was. A stunning 2 door Range Rover with the bullet proof 200 TDi Diesel engine, and 5 speed gearbox. This Range Rover has been the subject of an extensive "ground up" restoration, and has had thousands of pounds spent making sure that everything works correctly. Below is a brief list of the work carried out, but anyone who has completed a similar restoration will appreciate it is impossible to list every last job:
As good as this Range Rover looks, the ultimate experience is gained in the driving seat. Over the years, I have seen and driven many Land Rovers and Range Rovers that have had "An engine conversion", and to be honest, none of them ever seem to be 100% "right" This particular Range Rover has benefited from a professional rebuild which "included" an engine and gearbox transplant. Because of this - you would think that the vehicle was built this way - no nasty wiring, and it drives perfectly. If you are looking for a "Useable" Classic Range Rover - then this may fit the bill. Good enough to show - reliable enough to use - You choose ! To be sold fully serviced with 12 months MOT |
