RUP 267D - Series IIA - Fire truck READY TO SHOW ! 1966 - SWB 88" - with 7 seats (elephant hide) 200 Tdi Diesel (retro fit) 65,000 genuine miles from new Another great show vehicle. What a gem, originally supplied new to "Station 21 Bishop Auckland" fire station in 1966 and was used as the station officers staff vehicle. It had been decided that a 4 x 4 was necessary due to the Hamsterly Forest. IT was fleet number 237 - and still carries this mark today. It left service in the late 80's with less than 50,000 miles. There is a lovely letter from the fire service to back up this information. It has been in private ownership since, and has undergone a ground up restoration (photo's to prove), and has been retro fitted with a 200 Tdi engine, which makes this a lovely drivable classic car. It is well known by Land Rover enthusiasts, and has been a familiar sight at shows over the years, and was featured in "Land Rover Monthly" October 2004 - 4 page spread. As can bee seen from the photo's - it is sold with a lot of equipment, including period PYE radio (not connected), large search lamp, uniforms (steady now ladies !), and much more. To be sold fully serviced with 12 months MOT and 3 months mechanical warranty. |

OAS 821 - Land Rover Series I - 109" READY TO SHOW 35,600 miles - believed to be genuine 2.0 litre 4 cyl petrol The 109 series one was always a rare article, as it was only produced from autumn 1956 to April '58. This particular Land Rover falls approximately half way between, being built 7th March 1957, and is now certainly one of the best examples likely to be found anywhere in the world. Whilst this particular example has been the subject of a total nut and bolt restoration, it has been done in such a way that it does not "over done", and at first glance you could be easily fooled into thinking that it is all original. Many lovely features, such as smiths heater, and deluxe cab. Recently the subject of articles in both Land Rover Monthly magazine and Land Rover enthusiast. To be sold fully serviced with 12 months MOT and 3 months mechanical warranty. |

YTB 567L - Land Rover Series III 109" DORMOBILE 2.6 - 6cyl - petrol 1 owner - 20,250 genuine miles from new One of the most rare Land Rover options ever available, and to find a one owner example, with such low mileage and in such original and unspoilt condition is one our best ever discoveries. Purchased from the original owner, this Land Rover has just been brought out of 5 years dry storage, and is currently being recomissioned in our workshops. Enthusiasts who follow our site will know that we have a great knack of unearthing these treasures, and this one will not dissapoint. Based on the 5 door station wagon, this Land Rover would have gone from the factory, direct to Dormobile for the conversion. Features include the elevating roof, with 2 x single bunk beds, the 5 seats will convert to either a double bed or two singles. In the rear is a wash basin and 2 gas ring cooker, plus wardrobe and water storage facilities. As well as all the original Dormobile features, this Land Rover is also fitted with a period radio and seperate cassette player to complete the 70's feel. As if all that was not enough, all the original paperwork accompanies the vehicle, including original sales brochure (a rare item on its own), Dormobile instruction booklet (explains the operation of all the roof, seats, bunk beds, cooker etc.), original purchase invoice, original suppliers brochure (showing the other "camper" options available at the time), original owners handbook, original "Passport to service", and of course the original and up to date V5 registration documents. This Land Rover really is ready for anything, either a practical camper, or a unique show vehicle - the choicie is yours ! The term "time warp" is often over used, but I think on this occasion it is the only way to describe this great survivor. This vehicle has just been featured in May 2008 Land Rover Monthly - thanks to the magazine and Les Roberts. If you have an interest in this unique Land Rover, contact us now, as this is one of the most exciting finds I have seen in my 18 years here at Land Rover Centre To be sold fully recomissioned, serviced and with 12 months MOT |

YCX 348K - 1971 Range Rover 2 Door Classic 3.5 V8 petrol (unleaded) TIME WARP2 Owners - 50,300 miles from new Road tax - "Historic Vehicle" - "TAX EXEMPT" - NIL Whenever we offer vehicles like this for sale, we always get asked "Where do you find them ?" - the simple answer is; "They find us !". We have a reputation for sourcing and supplying some of the rarer and more difficult to find Land Rovers and Range Rovers, and this one is a gem. The story of "YCX" began for us in 2002, when we bought the car from the original owner, when it had 44,000 miles on the clock. Supplied new by W H Atkinson & Co (Huddersfield) in Lincoln Green, the original owner decided that "GOLD" was a better colour. We had the car professionally re sprayed back to the correct colour, and carried out the necessary re-commissioning work after being stood for 7 years unused in dry storage. The car was then sold to the second owner, who has used it sparingly, covering 6,000 miles in 7 years, bringing the total distance covered by this car to 50,300 miles. As well as retaining all it's original features, it also benefits from power steering - fitted as an extra when new, and overdrive - fitted by the second owner. I rate this car as 9.5 / 10 - the back of the drivers seat has cracking on the plastic, but the rest of the seats are perfect - almost unheard of with this early trim. This car retains all its original panels, chassis, engine and drive train, all of which are in excellent condition. Every tax disc and MOT from new are also supplied with the car. I would say that this is as good as a 38 year old car gets To be sold with 12 months MOT and 3 months mechanical warranty |
