Nancy first came to me late in '98 with the idea for her "ideal" Land Rover, suitable for use in West Africa where she was taking up a teaching job for up to 2 years. After discussing her requirements, we came up with the above Land Rover which has since been christened "Enshallah !".
The photographs below show some of the refurbishment process (click on images for larger picture). We delivered the Land Rover to Tilbury docks, for shipping on to Dakar, Senegal. From there Nancy drove overland to Bamako. She has sent us an account of the journey, and some more pictures:-
